NOT THAT TALK YET!!!!

So.......

Everyone knows that there is a farmer that has tons of cows on our way home.   Usually they're by the street and this time of year, they have calves!

The kids have recently picked up that there's cow poop there, too.

We drive by and the conversation usually goes like this (from one kid or the other):

"Mom!  The cows are out!"

"Look there's babies!"

"Look!  Cow poop!  EWWWWWWW!"

And for a while, then they would say, "The farmer has to clean that up!"

So we had a talk about how the farmer doesn't clean up the cow poop.

Now it's just, "EWWWWW!"

But as we were driving home the other day, we added something new to the conversation.

"Look Mom!  There's two cows walking with each other!"  (These cows WERE NOT walking if you catch my drift.)

"Mom-I'll bet they're best friends!"

"They'll be friends forever."

At this point, I wasn't sure how much longer he would spend talking about the cows 'walking', so I punched it.

As I sped up, he said, "Mom, why are you in a hurry?"

Me-"Oh-I just had to speed up to reach the speed limit."

Me- "Look!  We're almost home!"

We are SOOOOOO not having that talk yet!
